despite in how much I actually LIKE gackt, I do own the movie, and watched it twice in a row when I got it...but somehow, I feel like they're doing a poor job in acting... I dunno... but the movie could definitely be better

I like the movie, especially since it can't decide what it wants to be XD It's a mix between gangster, vampire, tragedy, and it even has romance thrown in. And all that piled together makes me laugh
 Many reviewers dislike it however :\ I don't think I've read any good online reviews for it. Tis sad. Also, I dislike both Gackt and Hyde (more of an indifference really) but I still manage to enjoy the movie  I eat you. Yup, tis true. Really.
That will mean nothing to everyone, except some people who aren't on this site Just to confirm Mitsuru, Sayo, Suzuya and Ginga belong to me on JF. Not much point in saying since what's gonna happen? But it's fun all the same

I have this movie downloaded, mainly because seems it's hard to get now. The subtitled version seems to be out of print; both the original release and the re-release from last year. I gave up. I do know one person who owns it (lucky), and it's a friend of mine's in Ohio that's about my age. Her mother is a huge Gackt and Hyde fan, so this movie was right up her alley.
I'll give the movie a watch at some point. I might burn it so that I can watch it away from the computer since I really do hate watching stuff on a computer screen.

Moon Child is my favourite movie, not just because I am a Gackt fangirl, although that is how I discovered it's existance.
For something with gangsters and vampires and fighting in it, this movie was surprisingly touching and beautiful. I cried a lot near the end.. and a few other times here and there. Gackt and Hyde together.. well, do I really need to say anything else? Everyone already knows how well they go together xD
