Ju on is the original The grudge movie. Where i read it from was that they first came up with it in japan from a manga then a movie. Then THe U.S did the same but changed it for the audience there.
Has anyone seen the original?its pretty scary

Yeah. I torrented it unsubbed, so I couldn't really understand a whole lot of it. But what I didn't understand what pretty scary! D:

Far better than the American "cliched" version.

It was originally a straight-to-video release that had a large enough following the same director made a theatrical release, and then made the US release version.

To me the low-budget original has the best scares, but all have their moments.

i saw yesterday the new 'Grudge 3', the american one. Almost the same as 2, same apartment, but different people.

What sucks is it didn't end here. Commercialism ftw.
