I think one of the best japanese movies was audition. Yes the movie started slow, but all of a sudden all hell breaks lose, and when you're done watching the movie, you'll never look at any person the same way again. Azumi, and versus are two good movies. But you still can't beat the classics, 7 samurai, zatoichi, RAN, and then the tv series called lone wolf and cub. Check out yesasia.com they have a ton of japanese movies. peace

The only Japanese movie I ever saw was called "One Missed Call" It was a horror movie. It gave me the chills and is pretty freaky. Especially the hospital place scenes. *RUN AWAY FOR YOUR LIFES!*

The ring: Not only my favourite japanese mmovie, but one of my favourite movies of all time! So creepy and there's not even much blood!
Also good: Castle in the sky: Just beautiful Audition: Scary! Battle royale: Original and good plot. Crouching tiger: I love it! Epic martial arts. The eye: Good end sequence. Lake of dracula: Really cool vampire film! |
