Nana didn`t impress me at all.
not even the anime. for me it was a waste of time. Moon Child could have been better, yet it was a nice watch. Versus was supposed to be horror(I think). but it was just a comedy with zombies. it had a dramatic touch in it, but then it was all ruined. Shinobi was indeed a good movie. it lacked a bit on the story-line, but it`s hard to put a whole anime into a 2h movie. Ju-on .. disappointing. I did expect something more, yet it was boring. Princess Blade had nice action scenes. and probably that`s it.

I'm a big fan of all the Godzilla movies, except for the 98 version even though the special effects were pretty good, and the Gamera: Guardian of the Universe trilogy (the old series didn't seem that great for me.) Now, aside from the Kaiju movies, my favorite Japanese movies are:
Seven Samurai Versus Azumi Zatoichi Yo-Yo Cop Have yet to see Shinobi but am looking forward to it. I've heard a lot of great things about the movie and the manga it's inspired from is pretty good as well.

I liked spirited away and howl's moving castle. Haha. All anime.

memories of matsuko... made me cry and laugh. I recommend it, but only if you can sit through musicals.

I forgot about Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children I think I watched that movie over and over. and the soundtrack was unbelievable. (sometimes a bit annoying, but nothing and nobody can be perfect heh)
