The departed is the usa version of the movie both are just great.

I haven't really seen a lot of romance movies, but I've seen a pretty good share of J-Horror flix tho. I don't think Storm Riders was Japanese but I enjoyed that and Zatoichi too I think it's the 2003 remake where they're all dancing in the end like it was H.S.M or something

Animated: Maybe Howls moving castle or Initial-D 3rd stage

abit off topic but,
I recently watched the 2007 Chinese film:
'Jin Tian De Yu Zen Me Yang?' which i found it very interesting.

ooohhh I also like a movie called Battle Royale. I guess cause all of the gore & killing, and the fact that the students had to use their brains through just about the whole movie.
