BATTLE ROYAL (damn good action film in general based on a comic)

TABOO (1st japanese, and so far the best, film I've ever seen!)
Director: Nagisa Oshima. It has won multiple awards.

"It shows life in a samurai training school during the bakumatsu period, the end of the samurai era in the mid-19th century, specifically concentrating on the issue of homosexuality in the shudō tradition in the partially-closed environment." -Taboo (1999 film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

KAGEN NO TSUKI
(btw, Hyde in one of the main roles as Adam)
Love story of such an passionate emotion that has the power to defeat even death itself. Besides; it's visually pretty piece of work. Can probably also be found from the net for free watching if someone wishes to do so.

I just watched Koizora like 3 days ago and I LOVED IT!!! I'm looking for more kinda like it. I'm a big fan of romance, drama, and comedy. I started watching Tokyo Boy but it didn't really capture me. Also, I love The Machine Girl!!

I have too many! So these are my favorites:

Japanese Dramas;
- Boys Over Flowers (Season 1 & 2)
- 1 Liter of Tears

Japanese Animation;
- Spirited Away
I loved all of Miyazaki's films, but Spirited Away was by far the best! And also the first I've watched of his works.

Japanese Movie;
- Grave of the Fireflies
It's also an animation. Both were touching & very, very sad..

There are so many that have amazed me but my favorite of all time is
Rainbow Song/Niji no Megami/虹の女神
It is really sad and beautiful and it made me really emotional. It made me happy and sad each time I have seen it. It is visually and musically wonderful and I just love it. I just like the style of it too, how it tries to be modern and show through the life of the main characters. it's kind of hard to explain but the movie has a sweet feeling to it. It's really nice. Everyone should see it!

My favourite would have to be Tanpopo. A great comedy and an awesome flick for those into their ramen. If you haven't seen it you really should!

Hate japanese horror films in the way that they are so good and I am such a girls blouse so I spend most of the film with my hands covering my ears and hiding behind my own knees...theres too many great films that I have yet to watch
