i also agree that the plot is a bit flawed and ridiculous but i still enjoyed watching both BR1 & BR2 for two reasons:

[1] i love japanese films (my sig is proof to that!)

[2] it's the director's reaction to Western Powers (especially the U.S.) who like to bomb and invade small asian countries....this is very evident when u watch BR2...

The first one is classic! the 2nd had a better premise, but the middle section I thought was too similar to the first film. I never realised there was a book! I must get it!

1 was great 2 was crappy, but i liked 2 still, since it's japanese and they had a rugby playing sensei!

Have seen Battle Royale 2. Mtv holland showed but I didn't really like it. Haven't seen 1 though.

I think battle royale 2 is a bit too similiar to the first one however, all in all they are both really decent movies. I believe the fist one to be much better since its more original.

i own both movies, the 2nd movie, yes, wasn't that good
but still ok to watch, hahaha, they rip on Amerika hard in that movie

But if you want a good Battle Royale to watch,
"watch the Anime" it's fantastic
it's alot more graphic and has better detail in it
they tell a story for each player in the game

Audition was a good movie, scary, but still good
i guess the meaning of that movie is "don't have a audition for a wife" hahaha
