Japanese subtitles

Hi!
Do you know any sites where I can download Japanese subtitles for Japanese movies?

It its very helpful to practice your language skills when you actually watch movies with subtitles. I'm interested in any subtitles for Japanese movies.

I already know one site for Japanese tv series and animes but I want to watch some modern movies like 'ototo' or 'shinobi'.

So far I watched English movies with Japanese subs or vice versa but its not the same like hearing original dialogs with script below.

Out of interest what is the site you use for Japanese tv series? I haven't watched anything other than anime and the odd film now I think of it.

There's a lot of subtitles in many languages including Japanese. There are also torrent links to episodes and subtitles.

You can find there quite big number of subtitles of Japanese dramas.
If you learn Japanese I recommend you Nihonjin no shiranai nihongo. Pretty funny and you can learn much about intersting facts in Japanese.

Cheers, I shall look up Nihonjin no shiranai nihongo but I only started learning Japanese a few week ago so it'll be a long while before I can understand anything without subtitles.

No idea.....but if you watch without subs...you'll improve your listening faster.

Sometimes I'm able to understand whole sentence but without reading it I just can't get it.

Can't believe it's so hard to find Japanese subtitles for Japanese movies. It's easy to get French or Russian subtitles but not Japanese.

Getting Japanese subtitles for Japanese movies is not difficult. They are regularly found on the proper DVD releases.

watch a baseball game in Japanese or Japanese wrestling.

I bet you can figure out a lot of what they say even if you're at a beginner level.


or watch Indiana Jones dubbed in Japanese....you don't even need subtitles to figure out what's going on there.
