i can't remember the name exactly but it was a very mature one off special drama about a man who becomes handicapped as his nervous system becomes blocked off because of a viral infection, played superbly by Matsumoto Jun.

I also really like Liar game.

Maou and the Quiz Show 2 are great!

They are kind of psychological trillers based on the theme of justice & atonement. I cried at both, but the plot is so exciting!

As for comedies, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e was the first dorama I saw, so it's an absolute fav for me.
