How many hours per day do you watch TV ?

I rarely watch TV,too.I like TV,but I don't have enough time to watch TV

I always get information from the Internet with my handy.

I like TV too!!
TV takes me wherever I want to go.
Foreign country, the world of movies, and the animation world!
I can travel in my home.
And TV makes me talk whoever I can' meet.
I don't have to leave home!

I do not watch TV since i was 18, which was 18 years go. TV, in 99%, is a complete waste of time.

I have not watched any TV since I was 16, which was about 6 years ago. I always thought we were in the days of torrenting shows (and thus watching on a PC)

I barely watch TV anymore there never seems to be anything good to watch anymore. However when I do it never lasts longer than an 1 to 2 hours.

I would say I watch a total of maybe five hours of planned and prerecorded television a week. Mostly (if not entirely) documentaries...

I am not a television watcher at all. The very idea of just having the tv on and blankly watching it is one the makes me cringe.

Watching it for the sake of watching because it's on is nutty. I know some people who have it on from the time they wake to when they bed. I guess for them it's some sort of companion. Rather sad if you ask me....

at least five hours a day its mostly just on while im doing other things though does that count??

Well I can see a lot of variety shows in Japan don't seem to be that good[I mean I saw one program over there where they were planning to set a mousetrap] but at least you don't have some of the rubbish we have over here. Japan doesn't buy formats like the X Factor,it's only bought things like Deal or No Deal. If I were to make a Japanese version of Big Brother for example [Because I do actually like the spectacle of the launch nights and finals] I would have to change a few things. You have a certain quality control,I mean we do too but people have different tastes.

But surely 99% is going a bit far? You have dramas,taiga dramas,anime and tokusatsu[which I'll admit isn't always good],you have a lot of genres in Japan,whereas it's only occasionally we get something really good like the Sarah Jane Adventures in Britain. Although I am still proud to be British of course.

There is a lot of good TV and a lot of bad TV. It depends on your outlook.
