This series is what I'm currently watching now...
It's on youtube in it's entirety so watch now before lawyers find it and take it away! I'm up to episode 6 and I can see where it's going... but it's still manages to be an emotional roller coaster. Despite the feeling of inevitability though, it's amazing how uplifting the series also makes you feel at times. Really touching series! I'm surprised some foriegn studio hasn't bought or snatched up the idea and made a few changes so they can't be sued. |

My God this series is the most touching I've ever seen....
I'm up to episode 10 now and Aya's speaking ability has severely faded. So sad... I don't think I'll be able to watch the last two episodes unless I am prepared to be sad all day. I really want to read the actual diary the series is based off (published under the name "One litre of tears" also)... I think the Diary will be even more touching and more realistic. For one I'm told that Asou-kun is not real so anything to do with his character is made up for dramatic purposes. But I'm really interested in the real struggle. |

YouTube - 1 Litre Of Tears - Ichi Rittoru No Namida Episode 1 part 1 You'll have to watch it in parts on youtube but it's pretty good quality and the translation is decent (My Japanese is limited so what I mean by that is the grammar and spelling of the subtitles is of a good quality) Just do a search on youtube once you've finished the parts... And watch it quick before some lawyer finds it and orders youtube to take it off the air!!! (Like what happens to most TV shows that are put up on youtube) |
