I have seen all of Miyazaki's movies and HMC was one of my favorites by far, although in my opinion Princess Mononoke was better, HMC is still up there along with Porco Rosso and Spirited Away.

The movie is very different to the book though.. i'll have to say.. that.. after reading the book.. you understand more... about why sophie doesn't have a father.. etc.. XDDD

I loooove Miyazaki's movies. Spirited Away is my favourite of his. And one of my favourite movies ever.

I agree with you! all of Hayo Miyazaki's movies are great especially SA and PM. I love them all!

I was wondering when someone was gonna put one of Miyazaki's movies up^^ Good thinking, clarie! ;D

I personally love all of Miyazaki's movies. He has the way of making you feel as if you were in the movie itself, and the animation is brilliant. I love the way he surrounds most of his movies with spirits and stuff. I think that he will eventually become a legend in the anime movie industry, but it seems he already has become one ;D

I like his movies the only one I didn't quite like was Nausica ( i think I spelled it wrong sorry) I liked spirited away I love that movie a lot. I have one question if any of you can answer. Why, at the end of the movie, does their car look rusted? did time pass by?

I loved howls moving castle too! It's my top favorite movie. I especially love christian bale's voice as howl. It was awesome, i even bought the book by diana wynne jones.
