Kanon Wakeshima...has anyone heard of her? She sings the ending theme song of the Vampire Knight anime, and always plays her cello. She's only like, 19, but her music is so beautiful! My favorite song is Suna no Oshiro. Anyone heard of her?

I got her first album a few weeks ago, in my opinion, I think she sounds fantastic. I love her music a lot in particular because I love me violin and cello. And she can play really good o.o
I hope she continues to be a great singer as well.

Kanon Wakeshima was really impressive at Otakon, imo. I only wish there had been a little more cello playing in her set. Her MCs were adorable, too ^_^
Oh! And there's this radio station that will be airing an interview with her tomorrow night and next Friday! I hope she mentions her cellos. I remember reading somewhere that she named them and they all have special names that mean something. Anyway, here's the site it'll be played on: WOLR Radio FM - Broadcasting Around the World!. I'm definitely listening in!

Well yesterday, I saw her live, and today I had a tea party with her. She was really lovely!
I asked her: Do you like London? Yes, it's been very fun! What is your favourite Lolita brand? She gave me a whole list, but her first was Baby, The Stars Shine Bright, and when I met her she was wearing a dress from Baby. What is your favourite part of Japan? I like Tokyo, because that is where I came from. Some other girls asked her: When did you start playing the cello? I started playing the cello when I was young, and I used to hate it and didn't want to do it! But then, I became better and learnt not to give up, and now I love it. If I remember any more, I'll let you know! Here are some pictures I took from the live gig, waiting for the tea party pictures/video.
