On the third of July, Matenrou Opera will be performing along with Kaya, Inugami Circus Dan, Uchu Sentai NOIZ, Rin, and La'Mule at Shibuya O-EAST. This particular live is sponsored by Kaya, and advance tickets cost 3800; the price for tickets at the door hasn't been decided yet, but I think it's safe to assume that it will cost 500 yen more, since that's usually what happens. Doors open at 16:00(4pm), show starts at 17:00.

So I've known this for a bit, but didn't know whether I should post it or not, but Sono announced a couple of things at their third anniversary live on 5/6. I checked for more information on the two announced one mans(yes people, TWO), but at the moment, there is none... anyway, their next one man will be at Shibuya O-EAST on 7/28, and their other one man will be at Shibuya AX on 8/30. Most importantly, the 8/30 live will be their last live as an indies band; after that, they will be signed on to King Records.

Information regarding their live at Shibuya O-EAST on 7/28. Advance tickets cost 4200, tickets at the door cost 4700, doors open at 17:30, show starts at 18:30.

Also, Matenrou Opera will be performing at the currently called INDIVISUAL DAY at Shibuya AX on 6/15(in Japan and anybody else living on that side of the planet; for those of us in the "new" world, it'll be 6/14, please keep that in mind). This show will actually be broadcasted for all to see via MySpace Japan. Other bands performing will be Rin, Dolly, Plastic Tree, and Vidoll. There will also be an opening act, although they haven't said who it is. At the moment, the event has been postponed because of band changes, but when they finally have the schedule changed and ready, they will post it at their site. Please check the site out(there are a few things in English there as well, if anybody wants to chek anything else out).

Alright, Matenrou Opera has two DVDs coming out on 9/01; one of them will be a documentary of their one man tour Emrgence from COCOON, and will be sold for 4200, and the other DVD is obviously the DVD for the last show of that tour, Birth of GENESIS. It includes 16 songs, and will cost 4935. Here is the track list:

1- GENESIS
2- Murder Scope
3- 電脳パラノイア
4- ローンデイジー
5- 輝ける世界
6- 蜃気楼
7- 天上への架け橋を
8- Utopia
9- Last Game
10- 悲哀とメランコリー
11- EVE
12- ANOMIE
13- 瑠璃色で描く虹
14- Eternal Symphony
15- honey drop

Also, they have the information for their last one man as an indies band at SHIBUYA AX on 8/30; advance tickets will cost 3800, tickets at the door cost 4300, doors open at 17:30, and the show starts at 18:30.

Also, news for people who have been following this band for a while, courtesy of Inka from Shattered-Tranquility.net. For those who remember Karen, the original keyboardist who was the one that composed Kaze no Tori, she has a solo project going on. She has changed her name to QUALIA, has a CD coming out the thirtieth of this month called 「ANOTHER COLOR」 which will cost 1500, and includes these songs:

01. SYNCHRONICITY
02. CHRONUS
03. STRAIN
04. E
05. ANOTHER COLOR

She has samples of three of the songs uploaded to her Qualia on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads, please listen to them and also, check out her official site, QUALIA.
