No offense but when i think of good western rock the one band that doesn't come to mind is Dragonfoce, they are just kind of a gimmick. But then again im not really a fan of hair metal or glam rock. There are much better western rock bands out there in my opinion, but i still love j-rock. And to the people saying western rock is boring, Are you only listening to the radio? Because if you are I completely understand. Radio rock is pretty awful, there are much better music out there.

I would also like to agree with the people saying that they are hard to compare and choose one. I only give it to western rock because all my Favorite bands are western bands besides like two which are jrock. They are both great!

I heard some of Greenday songs and they are pretty cool. I listened to some of Miyavi's and for me, they are just horrible, this is just my personal thought. I agree with most of his fans liking him because of his appearance.

I'd pick Miyavi over Green Day, really. Why? Because I've listened to Green Day, and find them somewhat unappealing, personally. Miyavi isn't the best musician either, but he has definate talent, and I respect that. Also, his music is pretty personal - he's a goof ball of a person, and his songs sound the same and give me the same feeling.

But I also find Miyavi one of the most unattractive JRockers out there. I'm sure Green Day has some shallow fans just like Miyavi does, so I don't think it's really right compare their fans >_>
