I'm not talking about there lyrics

I'm talking about how they have musical (progressive) build up in most of there songs.

So Asian Kung-Fu Generation came out with a new single a couple weeks ago
called Yoru no Call, you have to give it a few times to listen to before you can say you like it or not, like a lot AKFG songs.

the song is good, but it doesn't seem like AKFG's style, i feel they made this single just because they wanted to.

on otherhand their lastest album Surf Bangaku Kamakura is a masterpiece.
it's good, but you have to be in relaxed or a really sad or slow mood.

a lot of people thought they we're showing off proving to people that Ajikan wasn't dead, but I thought it was more of preparing people for the summer since the winter/spring was a terrible time

Surf Bangaku Kamakura is an amazing album that I need to get my hands on! I love their song Fugisawa Loser! And yeah, like with After Dark; I had to listen to that song a few times before I decided I liked it. (BTW, the song "After Dark" is the newest opening to the BLEACH anime series)

By far, the best songs from them are "After Dark" and "Reraito". I'm gonna try to listen to other songs though and see if I like them as well. But "After Dark" will always be my number one song because it's a very get-up-and-get-going-song. I can't stop listening to it.

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean, but if you are reffering to how many times you need to listen to songs to like them, it is different for every person. Maybe the first time you listen, you will like the song, but maybe you will need to listen 2, 3, 4, or 5 times before you appreciate the music entirely.
