uhm..thats kinda shallow. Yes, I admit, i liked it because its different, but also I enjoyed the music, not just cuz of where it came from.

I don't want to be rude, but are you serious? I personally could never listen to a band because of it's background. The most important thing, and perhaps the only important thing in listening to music is that you enjoy it. It doesn't matter which country the band is from or are the players good looking or not. At least, that's what I think. Maybe you should cosider finding those bands you like just because of the music, not because of the home country.

To a point I'm the same....if I see that they are Japanese it draws me in first.....then I listen to them get some background info.....then I decide if I like them and want to get more invloved....^_^

Same with me. ^^'' I usually refuse to listen to bands non-japanese unless they really make great music.. which only happens rarely. *sigh*

Yet, I don't fall in love with jbands who make crappy music - just because they're japanese.
