From the news I am seeing out of Japan, it looks like their performance on New Year's Eve in Tokyo will be their last in Japan, and one of the last ever.

Apparently the two "factions" of the band flew into Japan on different flights, and a fake wall was put up to split their dressing room.

Supposedly there will be a farewell concert in Korea at some point.

So far, I've heard nothing about them actually disbanding. SM is denying it, the boys are denying it, and avex is denying it...That's the most recent that I've heard anyway. I think avex announced that pretty recently since the articles were mostly from today... This crap needs to get over with. I dont want them to disband, but they just need to get their heads screwed on straight or something!!

From what I am reading they are "on hiatus" in Korea, but were allowed to perform on New Year's Eve in Japan (on Kouhaku TV show). Two members were clearly "not into it".

And they're NOT disbanding, just to clear that up, in advance.

I got my news from a Japanese source.

There is no way to know for sure if there will be a break-up or not, but having two factions within the group of five doesn't bode well. They fly on separate planes and use divided dressing rooms.

That's part of SM Entertainments' monitoring, as far as I know. The split dressing rooms aren't exactly a request by the guys themselves, but I've read that they have gotten used to the idea....

It's definitely an SM thing. It makes sense they got used to it, but I don't like it. Not at all!

And Max and Yunho need to get their heads straight, and leave SM also....
It's just causing problems, with them sticking with SM... so to my way of thinking, they're as much a cause of the problems as SM is. Or nearly as much.
So, even though I love the guys, and Max especially, I am really still angry with them. They should be on the side of their bandmates/friends, instead of SM.
