never heard of them

Their first compilation album, "Review - Best of Glay", was the best selling album of all time in Japan in 1997. As of 2007, it is ranked at #3 in the orion chrats

In 1998, Japan's telephone service was temporarily put out of order to allow for the mass number of fans to reserve tickets to their upcoming tour.

Their contract transfer from Pony Canyon to Toshiba EMI is the most expensive transfer in Japan's history, at 4 billion yen.

They played to the biggest crowd in a concert, 280,000 people. I think that was in 2001 or 99, carnt remember

GLAY is awesome. My favorite song from them would be... Aitai Kimochi (I'm not sure did I got it right. lol) It was my first song I heard from them and it is special to me ^^ I wish I could buy their album someday, I only have their single. ;<

I like GLAY alright ^_^

Anyway, I havent heard many of the songs mentioned -GLAY newb!!- but I like Winter, again. I dont like the PV for it so much, but I like the song. ^_^

I don't know why he quit. But I am so happy to finally find some other people who love Galy as much as I do! They are my fav all time band. As for the PV, I checked it out but haven't come across this one yet, so I am assuming it is relatively new.

Best songs are
Missing You
Aitai Kimochi
Mermaid
Together
Toki No Shizuku
Heavy Gauge
Tsuki Ni Inoru

Ah what the hell 99% of the songs are great, but the do have some dodgy ones like Fried Chicken and Beer!

Kuchibiru is a personal favourite, though I'm not sure why, cos I think others are better.
Together is my other favourite, and one of their best in my opinion. You can definitely hear the influence taken from X in it.
