About L'Arc poppiness? Oh yeah definitely noticed. It's not bad music, but I prefer a rockier L'Arc. I think now they release things just to release it and stay together for the sake of the name. Their indies stuff is so much better in my opinion.

*Hugs Dune album*

Anyways, you hear that Hyde? Get going, we want more solo Hyde!

Hyde's solo stuff is better than the L'Arc stuff. NO COMPARISON.
When I got my hands on Roentgen, I liked almost every song on the CD. And with most of Laruku's CDs... I listen to them through and I like maybe two songs on them. They're way too poppy.
Oh, and check the heights of most of the greatest Jrock musicians and you'll find that they're wicked short.

>nods<

Most JRock Gods are short. Minus like three(Toshi, Gackt, and Miyavi).

I think that "kiss" is just something that they did. It feels like no time was put into it at all.

I definitely prefer Faith, or 666 over that.

I agree with both of you

I have Kiss and I haven't listened to it yet. I really should just to get an idea of what it's like.

I think of all his albums Faith is now my favorite now. I like the feel of the whole album. All three have a distinct atmosphere to them though. Wow, I haven't listened to 666 in a while. Now I'm in the mood to listen to it.

*nods* Me, too. I've only listened to a bit of Faith, but it wasn't spectacular as far as I could tell.

I'm just in love with Countdown and Perfect Moment so that makes me partial to Faith. I love the others too.

What he accomplished in Roentgen was great. It was such a departure from what he did with L'Arc previously and it seemed almost like he emerged from a cocoon when he released it. Definitely a wonderful way to set himself apart from the band and create his own identity.

Everything you said.

Although I have to say I like 666 better then Roe... whatever. I never could spell it and no point in mangling the spelling now.
