I like much J Music bands/singers, but especially X, Gackt and Luna Sea. But u can look from 12012 over Ayabie, Diru, Gazette, L'Aruku, till X.

L'arc En Ciel --- Check out Hyde.....

X Japan

My friend also really likes Ken Hirai but i wouldnt say hes rock

Gackt is pretty intense rock too

the Pillows are amazing.... nice indie rock stuff

Does anyone have any recommendations for any newer vk/jrock bands that are really good or different in some way? Or any that are less well known and really good? I like a wide variety but i don't really like screamy/hard metal music.
