Classic J-love songs that will make you sing? -

Im talking about jsongs here, love songs to be exact, that is very popular / classic that when i sing that song no one will laugh at me.
example of english counterparts are (these are just my taste, btw) - Cant take my eyes off you - Glory of love - Id rather - High (the speaks) anyone knows a very romantic japanese love song? id like to sing it in a karaoke smetime. as of the moment im loving "dakishimetai" by mr children and "hitomi wo tojite" by hirai ken. thanks

looking for some recommendations. My musical styles that i like are varied ... but so far the jrock / jpop that i have found online and listened to, doesn't quite fit what i am looking for.
i know there are a few groups that have sung older 50's style surfer and automotive songs from the US. what would some of those bands be? ... and also bands that mimic the 80's / early 90's style of hiphop ...

Doesn't have to be japanese....just anyting that had any great influence on you or took a special part of your life...where it helped u going through certain circumstances or hard times throguh your life...  hehe try nummbering or ranking your songs from "1" to "20"  Ofc i'll be posting my songs soon but i would love to hear from you first Peace.
