Thanks for that information. How disappointing. Oh well, I'll just have to go back to the museum.  ----------------- Nyororin, Oh man. You just turned me on to a whole new slew of music. I didn't realize there were so many remixes of Ghibli music. I love the stuff! I spent about an hour or two checking out what's available on itunes. I appreciate your help, and the version you provided a link to is very close, but rather than a harp, the background instrument sounds more like a samisen? So close! Now that I know about the endless remixes, when I return to Japan I will have to spend some time browsing them! Thanks for the tips! -Seth

I found this song on the web and it produced such a storng emotion in me, but when i tried to find the lyrics i could find it only in japanese.
Since i don't speak japanese this is the only way to found out what does it say. If someone could take the time and translate it in english i would be very grateful. What a great idea. I could kill two birds with one stone-possibly become famous while getting the song I've been looking for. But...should the synthesizer be American or Japanese made? <this guy doesn't look at all like he's giving a sly wink. He just looks sleepy. Or like he's got something stuck in his eye.
