and as I find more, it's ever increasing @_@. XD If anybody wants to know what Visual Kei fan girls sound like when they see their favorite band and the members have left the stage, they sound like all these people, and if you don't believe me:

YouTube - (DEATH METAL) SKULL FUCK - TEN SECONDS
YouTube - Vyson-Japanese all girls death metal band

and more Japanese metal + women:

YouTube - Area 51 - Les Anges
YouTube - Onmyo-Za - Nemuri

Speaking of Japanease metal and women...

YouTube - Thief in the mirror / aphasia

Sounds like Power Metal to me, they dub themselves as "Melodic Heavy Metal".

Looking for music and singers - 08-29-2010, 10:19 PM

From the 50's and 60's era. I was a young man just 18 years old when I first went to Yokosuka Naval Base as a young sailor.

Working on the base with the Japanese and living in the town and off the base was probably the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I fell in love with the Japanes pop music of the time especially the weekend TV Music Shows with their old stars and big bands. I remember to this day those haunting melodies and harmonies that were played at the time. There was an older Japanese male singer who dressed as a merchant sailor or fisherman and he sang music that I didn't really understand completely but music that touched my heart and soul with its musical beauty...

I do not know if there is any site that has all the old music and the names of the songs and the singers.... Songs like Nagasaki no mono gatari, Osho, Shina no youru.... and the list just goes on..... I have been gone for ages, forgotton most of the Japanese I knew as I immigrated to Tahiti, and became French and had to learn 2 new languages....

If anyone could point me in the correct direction to find out about these stars of 40 and 50 years ago I would be greatly appreciative.

Thank you and wishing you all fair winds and following seas

Looking for Recommendations~!
So far: So far in Japanese music, I like Ai Otsuka's Planetarium, Cherish, and Daisuki Da Yo. There are also my favorite Korean artists that have released Japanese albums so I've been listening to those to (notably: DBSK, Younha, FT Island, CN Blue<3).
-- I listen to Korean music all the time. My favorites include the artists listed above, and generally: KPOP (i.e. BoA), Ballads, Rock Ballads (i.e. CN BLUE), Rap (i.e. Epik High, Big Bang).. Most of the time, it's song-specific.

Preference: J Pop, Rock Ballads, Ballads

Not sure of: J Rock, Metal (?)

Recommendations appreciated~!

I am sorry for I am not good at writing English

1950's? 1960's? 1970's?songs?
Nagasaki mono gatari (1939) Shina no youru (1940)
Osho....yamadera no Osho san?(1937)
The age is not suitable. ;(
Old TV program,The big band performed all music.
The possibility of an original music that the big band is not used is high.
I want information a little more.

Put URL that can audition the Compilationalbum by way of experiment.
