World Baseball Classis - 03-03-2009, 05:48 PM

Anyone following this? The classic starts tomorrow in Japan!

Of course I'm a huge fan of Canada but I'm not holding my hopes up high.

I'm really looking forward to team Japan as well. I'd like to see how Yu Darvish fares against the USA, Dominican Republic, etc. Unfortunately, it looks like Yu along with Matsuzaka and Ichiro aren't doing too well in the preliminaries. At least they get to "warm up" in asia before being fed to the big dogs in the US.

I envy you! Up here in AB, the closest baseball field is Safeco field in Seattle. I thought about flying to Toronto this weekend to catch the USA vs Canada game but I have to work tomorrow. Ugh...

Either way, I'll be up at 3am tomorrow to watch Japan vs Korea. Should be an awesome game!
