I always wanted to practice Judo or Kendo, but my mom would never let me. I once had a dream that I was Sonny Chiba. It was so awesome. And now i sound like a dork.

At the moment I am practicing Southern Style Praying Mantis Kung-Fu, It has only been around three months since I started... but it is really fun and I recommend it to anybody.

It's not just about fighting, you build stamina and strengthen your leg muscles by doing the horse stance. You have to try it. .

I have learnt a few kick ass moves, but I'm way off yet. There's loads to learn.

Just found this site and what a coincidence, I practice NORTHERN Praying Mantis Kung-Fu and thoroughly enjoy it!

For those who dont know much about it, you've probably seen it without knowing! Lion Rafale - Virtua Fighter 2, Kung Lau - Mortal Combat, Shujinko - Mortal Combat and of course the Praying Mantis in Kung Fu Panda movie!

I'm currently competing in amateur boxing, I guess it cant be called a true martial arts since it's more of a sport. It's fun and challenging, grown a bit tired from it though and thinking of training Muay thai or some kind of combat karate instead.
