basicly physics says RWD>FWD when talking about "drifting" other wise FWD does have its advantages in other race events such as autocross or drag (highly controversal) |

FWD FTL
I don't think I can go back to driving a fwd car. My Tiburon was only putting down about 185 whp, I had a really tough time getting traction on launches, and the torque steer was horrible. A limited-slip diff would have helped, but it would still be weak compared to rwd or awd. Hey typesblur, what year is your Z? I used to have an 84 2+2 auto Funny how I used to think it was fast when I first got my license lol Trivium's 4th album "Shogun" out 9/30 Metal 4 Life He who walks the fire breathes Unlike the rest Living by the bloody creed Kirisute gomen Air of battle tasting stale Reeks of deceit Send the bitter straight to hell Kirisute gomen Quake has bred with the storm Conceiving war Wicked stampeding hordes Kirisute gomen He who spits the fire seethes All he detests Decapitating, bloody creed Kirisute gomen |

I think that for drifting the best choise is a 4WD... obviously with the transmission changed and adapted for this use.
With RWD is really easy to make the car slide, but if you are not fast and reactive with steering wheel (and when you are too fast) is really hard to exit the curve without going in 360°... with FWD I've never tried... Gackt Fan Club Member |
