Cool soccer - 10-31-2009, 03:57 AM

Hi,
I am from America and I was wondering if Japan is really into soccer. If so, what are there top teams and their names. Thanks!!

I can confirm with Mr. Nagoyankee native Japanese, that when I lived in Japan, soccer was a prime talked about event so definitely huge in Japan.

I believe it has only recently started to make in-roads in the US.

Indeed. Even Zico says teams like Kashima could do a good year here in Brazil. I like Nakata, very skillful.

I love watching the J-League highlights on Eurosport. I support Glasgow Celtic though. I am a big fan of Shunsuke Nakamura but now he's left. Koki Mizuno is still there though
