I love soccer [or football, whichever you prefer] I played since I was six but had to quit when I got to middle school because we don't have a soccer team

Yay! Soccer fans!
(Shut up, I grew up hearing it as Soccer!)
I wish I could watch the J-League here in the States...
But I watch some of it on YouTube! Haha
As for my teams, they are:
US (National Team)
Deutschland (Nationalmannschaft)
FC Bayern München
Chicago Fire
FC東京

I love soccer, and I would like to know if there are female soccer teams in Japan, just in case

I like Soccer, but over here in the U.S., Soccer is like the least popular sport of all. I just went on a missions trip down to Mexico, and down there, Futbol(Soccer) is all they play, and boy, the little kids are amazing. I saw most of my youth group, Grades 9-12, get beat by a bunch of 8-12 year olds, it was great. I think we need to have more Soccer related activities and whatnot here in the U.S., it is , in my opinion, one of the most athletic sports out there.

Yes, it's a pity it's not more popular in the States. I still can't believe Beckham left Europe to go play over there, they must've paid him a shit load of money, cause no sensible player would have left the Premiership to play for LA. Galaxy x)

as far as I know it's become more popular compared to the years before World Cup in the US....when US team plays, the stadia get crowded...

for teh win, indeed

Been playing soccer all my life, I'll be finishing my last year at University this spring and if all goes according to plan I'll find myself in Tokyo this time next year.

How does someone new to the area get involved in soccer programs in Tokyo? I love playing the sport and I'm not half bad, maybe you know a team...?
