Wii or PS3?

The Wii is so much better. It's new. The rest of them are just fancy updates of their predecessors. Wii has new features and innovation.

PS3 seem to have failed miserably. They are terribly over-priced, and everyone has an Xbox which has the same games a PS3 has. The only difference is it has blu-ray, which I personally don't give a damn about.

You obviously have very little information about games. I mean no offense, but do your research before you post such things.

Wii is the one which is the small upgraded version of Gamecube. Technically speaking, it is the most inferior of the three. It has only first party, and second party support, and no third party support. Thus their game liberary is very small. As far as the innovation, and features are concerned, then I don't know what you are talking about...Please explain yourself.

How is PS3 a failure? It has outsold 360 in Europe, considering the fact that it is a whole year younger than 360. It is a massive leap beyond Ps2, and currently the most technically advanced console of the three.

The game that you are talking about "on both consoles", then they are called Multi-platform games. A console is known for its exclusives, and nothing more.

Blueray is for enhancing speed, space etc etc...

i own both the ps3 and the 360 i personally find the ps3 is better. its faster in loading , quieter and i find the graphics better. only down side is that the ps3 when u play online looses conection more than the 360

Actually, I am very well educated about video games and my future career will be in game design. I know technically the Wii specs are just a slightly upgraded GameCube. In terms of GAMEPLAY, the Wii is completely new and original. In terms of Xbox and Playstation gameplay, they are just the same. Pretty graphics, similar controller, same old same old. I know what Blu-Ray is for and I know I don't need it. The disks can hold more space than normal CDs so the games can be bigger. Consoles can be technically brilliant, but if the games are just the same as all the others there is no point.


I know they are called multi-platform thank you very much. As a game player whether a console is technically great doesn't matter. The fun you get from playing the game does, in my opinion, as that is the actual POINT in playing games at all. In terms of graphics and all the other pointless technical power sucking, of course Playstation wins. Have you seen the price on the thing?


So what if PS3 is doing better than 360 in Europe? Globally it is doing the worst out of the new gen consoles.

Is the playstation ever at the top? Nope. So maybe in Europe it's doing better than Xbox 360, big wow, but the rest of the world isn't buying it.

I would say PS3, just because I have a PS2 and a Wii, and I like my PS2 games better.

I say the Wii, though I have neither, I'm just a Ye-Olde Nintendoer by nature. I still have a SNES, N64, Gamecube, GBA and DS...

Me too ^_^ Well I have a NES not a SNES. I should get one!

Oh and this is awesome. It's a giant NES controller coffee table and it actually works playing the games.
