Me and my friend got quite involved with Project Zero 2, because the 2 girls reminded us of ourselves. By the end we actually called them Sally and Rachel, which was just kinda horrorfying! I think the only reason that one is less scary for me is because I've completed it - it's sorta brought closure on it >.< |

The door closing scared you? XD. The only thing that made me stop for 5 secs was the rope falling and the lightning >_<. You like 2 the best cause it's easy XD.
I love 3. It requires tactics for battling and the ghosts rape you like in 1. In 1 its just charge shoot go back too 3rd person, run till you locate ghost, charge and shoot. In 2 it's do w/e cause the ghost barley dents your HP XD In 3 its like 2 where you need to charge up and get fatal frame shots except the ghosts hurt..... XD. Also I HATED that in 2 they got rid of the charge noises from 1 XD |

No, the door moving due to wind IN REAL LIFE. That's scary when it's dark, midnight, no one home but you and yet it moves - while you're playing a horror game.
I don't ever remember playing Project Zero 1 in a tactful way. I was so immersed in the whole game that I dreaded every ghost encounter, everything about them truly frightened me. I remember that time when you open the door and a ghost is standing right in front of you... oh god Idon't want to think about it! You can imagine how I reacted when Kirie came after me. I was basically frozen! There were times where I would stand for like, a minute, waiting for a ghost to appear because I was too afraid to turn around the corner and continue on. All that tension... you know, eventually you're about to burst! This one time, I was really stuck for 5 minutes or so, and when I finally decided to do my thing...Kirie comes. A normal ghost would've been a slight relief, but Kirie (I tihnk it as the 2nd night) was just horrendous. EDIT: It appears, Nemhy, that you weren't half as scared by the game as I was. ^^ which explains why you could get through some parts easier than me. |

I laughed through 1 XD. 1 On nightmare mode was a bitch at some parts since your filiment doesnt go off. I heard in 3 on nightmare you dont have the fatal frame light which makes the game IMMENSLY hard. Ahhh Editor Ogata's ghost! I remeber that! Ghosts scared you that much? XD Wow the only time a ghost ever sxared me was when the blind lady teleported I turn and shes right in my face XD. Sae's laugh in 2 was creepy though...x.x Perhaps its cause I grew up in a world of horror movies since my mom loves them XD. I've had Fatal frame 3 nightmares since the game works like a big nightmare...but nothig too big. Mainly the butcher knife guy >_<....
I can't wait till 4! |

Well maybe me having a very.....diffrent sense of humor and my general attitude towards things make me not as scared XD. Even if you're not as terrified as some people the games are still great. But read and listen to EVERYTHING. Also it helps too play the game loudly and on a medium/low brightness setting Just too where you can only really see whats in your flashlight. Makes things more interesting and realistic imo. Although in 2 when the flashlight dies it does get a bit annoying bumping into walls XD but also more fun.
