I play it, too.
Actually my characters are around Level 40 except for Ashe. She's Level 50 cause she's always the group leader. I love running around with her. But I like Balthier and Fran, too.
But in FF XII I miss the character design of Testuya Nomura. His characters were the best.

Phew. Lovely 300+ hours with fun, sadness, anger and happiness. For a few months those characters became my friends. I hated that it had to end. I still play sometime...although im around lvl 77 I think *thinks* idk.

Killing the ultimate monster in progress....umm I have secret special weapons and such oh! too much to do indeed!! I have achieved many things...which I must keep a secret.

Gosh... I started playing it but now I'm stuck! I lose all the time! And I hate this battle system. But it seems to me a nice game in general.

A friend of mine got stuck there and had to restart... no joke.

Isn't there a save crystal like right there by you.
Fight a couple soldiers, go touch crystal to heal. repeat.
it's that or restart... have your pick.

or, if you happened to make a save kind of recently before entering the laboratory, I'd restart there and just train fora while..
That's the trick in FF games, you have to TRAIN/LEVEL UP....
