It can't be Zack. It shows Zack with Aerith. If he is alive as a wolf, how can it show his spirit? So I don't think that the wolf is Zack. I think that they just picked a wolf because wolf's are recognized as a spiritual being. Think about the Native Americans and how they viewed wolves.

The wolf does'nt symbolize any character, either in the movie or from the game. It is more of a symbol of hope and protection. There is no evidence to connect it to anyone. I think we are just reading into this wolf symbology too much.

I was thinking the same thing. Zack appears with Aerith in the end. If he was reborn (into a wolf) wouldnt he just be the wolf? i cant really tell if it's him or not but i dont belive it is n.n which goes onto think.. whats up with the wolf O.o ??

symbology? so the wolf is no one it's just there...

Luna- Kimahri was a good toon in 10 but in 10-2 he was kinda a loser..

actually, the show all three of them at the end, which makes me think the wolf was Zack's pet or something (or Nanaki's father)

well no site i can find says what he is exactly but it said lion-like..

an extremely intelligent lion-like creature from Cosmo Canyon.

But that still doesnt say half lion half wolf or maybe he is a wolf that acts like a lion :/ or maybe Square Enix is just trying to drive us nuts
