when does final fantasy 13 come out??

I don't think i am going to be getting final fansty XIII. I read some stuff on the battle system and it was discribed as a mix of Kingdom hearts battle system and FF XII battle system. The graphics look great but i have a strong feeling it is going to suck like 12.

i thought the battle system in 12 was great. I mean it has it flaws but w/e. the story line wasnt that great either.
each time they come out with a new story its its just that percentage lame.

they need something like 7 again

probley 2 to 3 years from now. there not even done building the battle system. They probley be working on CGI only till this point and just getting ready to start the battle system. then they have to program all magic, summons, and other ablities, then write the scrpit into the game. don't forget finding the voice actors , recording there voice overs. and then the hidded stuff and program the status for items and random encounters. so there still alot of work left. the earliest i think would could see it year and half from now. there is no release dates for any of the 3 FF XIII games in japan and US gets that stuff 2 to 6 months after them.

XP i heard that it was supposed to come out when the playstation 3 came out.

or was it 12??

Indeed!! It's a problem though, how do you reinvent the "best" game after you already made it? (I enjoy(ed) FF7 more than any other rpg I have ever played.)

its not that your trying to make something after the best game ever, its just trying to come up with the same type of senerio type thing

I like the story for 12 well for as far as i got before i put the game because i could not stand the grinding i had to do to get money haveing to fight creatuers and grab random treasure pots to get one weapon made me put it down and never want to touch it again. the game was poorly blanced. the battle system is crap because you can't do inbetween turn based and real time combat it has to be one or the other, the Ai level us system was stupid idea also. FF12 was squares attempet to make MMORPG with out the MMO part. it does not work. the reason why the ai system was lame was becasue it was not real time if it was real time combat system it would have been great but it was not.

and it looks like it a simlar plan for 13 but maybe with better control like in kingdom hearts.

they annoced that it would start development for it and it's 2 spin offs when the ps3 was released in the us. it probley a 2 to 3 year project, unless they make another short game.

i mean i havent had time to finish the game, im only at the sandsea

which is lame because i can defeat everything in one hit!
