The Final Fantasy games - namely Final Fantasy VII are what really started me up in RP games of the sort. I've been roleplaying characters from them since FFVII was released, and I love the series. Wasn't crazy about FFVIII, but I guess that's a matter of opinion.

8 had it flaws but there was a lot of story witch pulled the game along. The GF system was Blah and leveling up the monsters as you level gave no real reason to level.

You obviously haven't played a lot of XII to say that.

There are enemies that award more than 1 LP per kill. Try Giants and Elementals. If you want a huge load of LP though, do hunts.

I have to say as a final fantasy fan that the english voice actors were good. However i cannot bring myself to watch it in english. I absolutely love watching it in Japanese with the English subtitles.

I totally agree.

English can sometimes be really dodgy, plus Final Fantasy is sooooo much more interesting in Japanese.

sure has been a while...

My sentiments exactly!! After watching like a million times in japanese and then watching it in english the conversations have a totally different feel. Don't get me wrong the movie is the same with the same story line (obviously) but in japanese it brings more seriousness to it. Idk if that sounds right. lol Well i tried!!

yes there are speical situations that give you more then 1 Lp but your still haveing to kill the same stuff over and over and over and over again to make and any progress. I played enough of the game to release it was poorly made and rushed.

My favourites are so definetly FF7 and FF10

Love FF7 cause of the story that it tells us, and how many of the things that I really cherrished while playing kinda got screwed up... like Aerith.... /cry/sob
Even though Cloud seems emotionless throughout the story (And throughout Advent Children), I really hoped he had changed abit in the two years but I guess not, he should have married Aerith and they should've lived happily ever after ffs!! (and ofc Tifa should live next door to them with Yuffie as her roommate and they would live in Midgar in wich Aerith lived before with her mom... loved that garden)

Love FF10 cause of the relationship between Yuna and Tidus, how they loved eachother, and all they went through together and even after all that Tidus chooses to go back to his freakin sucky millenium...

But to cut it short, ff7 is more emotionfilled, good and bad.
And ff10 is more just about the feeling of love/to miss someone... but in a up-beat way.. if you udnerstand..

Well, really, what difference does it make? If LP increased in monster level, then the licenses would have to cost much, much, more.
