Yea FFXIII/vsXIII are going to remain exlusively on PS3. Square isn't exactly a fan of developing multiplatform games. They like to make exclusive heavy hitters to bottleneck their sales.
As for FFXII. Well I have the game and played through what I'll assume was most of it. Something around 39:~50 hours tallied and just stopped. My ambition to dump hours upon hours into games has all buy faded in the last few years. |

I LOVE XII. I've already beaten the 'main' storyline part. Now I'm trying to beat the entire game, like beating all the secret bosses, such as Yiazmat -.- which I'm not looking forward to. I'm also trying to find all the weapons, hidden enemies ect. Right now I have 125 hours on the game. I haven't been playing lately only because I'm working on replaying X-2. The only thing I don't really like about XII is how long it is and Vaan. Vaan is the most annoying character in that game and of all the FF games I've played. But if anyone needs help I would love to help so feel free to post here or PM me.

Haha I've been playing for a year and 4 month now. (06 nov)
Yiazmat has 25 million HP and everything else is fine. Still doesn't own a tournesol. Ugh, agh 29 trophies, 70+ rare games. Everyone is at level 78 except Balflear who is 77. It says 298 hrs XD Man I'm busy as hell. Hit me up on MSN or pm me.

I don't have a PS3 either, and at the moment, they're way too dear (I wouldn't mind investing in one if it had enough interesting titles, but it doesn't at the moment)
I didn't mind FF XII, a trifle overrated but a decent game nonetheless. I liked how the game granted players much liberty to explore the overworld (dead opposite: FFX and its restrictive, linear plot course) and made battles run smoothly by removing random encounters (dead opposite: FFX and its dreadful "shattering glass" transition to battles). Two gripes I have however : The item collecting and the main theme. While collecting items and forging new equipment may be appealing, it does get old quickly when you have to spend hours upon hours to get/make a single piece of rare equipment (don't ask me how long it took to make a darn Tournesol!). I had trouble liking this game's serious theme, probably because it felt more like reality than a fantasy. |
