I'm thinking about getting this for my PS2 since I dont have a comp....T_T but I need to know something! I already have the network adapter and the settings on my ps2, for the HDD can I just shuve a 40 gb HDD in my ps2 and play? or do I need to buy the big expensive set? D: I saw just plain HDDs on ebay and getting that with van ah deil collection is much cheaper...any help?
Does anyone eles here play? I'm going to levi server prob XD

I was told that you need to use Sony's official drive for FFXI, but I can't confirm that, since I played the game on the PC. The game was fun, but it's a real time sink. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're able to play for hours and hours at a time, as it's nearly impossible to just turn it on and play for a little bit.

TT_TT ya...its too bad its only for psp! i would've bought it too then! i wish it would come out on ds lite though...TT_TT but...i guess looking at the cover is good enough! XD

yes. it was a good game. i knew the ending but it was still so upsetting..i got emotional. T^T
it's worth getting a psp for. they're making more ff games for it & kh games, too.  But to despair was to wish back for something already lost. Or to prolong what was already unbearable.
