EDIT: Appears I was wrong.

But still, don't get it for the PS2. Just too much hassle. PC works best.

My bad, I had been misinformed.

I thought that they had discontinued FFXI sales on PS2 after the original game release and the 2 expansions but apparently they've released the last2 expansions to the PS2 as well which is strange because the PS2 is obsolete, and they aren't even making the PS2's you need anymore (the ones with a HDD and internet stuffs).

According to Square-Enix, it's the PS2. Wasn't sure you could play FFXI on a PS3.

I didn't know PS2 games were still coming out, I thought by now people would be moving on towards this generation of consoles (360, Wii, PS3).
