Lunar Silver Star Story / Eternal Blue - 04-22-2008, 04:34 AM

Beat em both and LOVED them. I played the ps1 versions. Anyone eles play em?

I personally though 2 was CAKE compared too 1 D:....1 was REALLY hard imo and SPOILERS!

the Ghaleon fight took FOREVER......

In 1 I LOVED Jessica and Mia. In 2 Jean, Ronfar and Lemina. Lucia was also cool though boring at first.

I loved the silver star story, was a very concrete game with a wonderful atmosphere.

Eternal Blue however I didnt enjoy as much, it felt like it was just smacked together for a sake of a sequal. I didnt get much of a feel of a team, friendship, or love plot.

With silver star story I always had trouble putting down the controller becuase I was so anxious to see what happened next. Eternal blue never left me with the anxiety of the next chapter to the plot.

Ah yes, I remember screwing myself over by saving only one game and not stocking up on items before I did...I think Ghaleon was the hardest RPG boss I ever came across.

I rented it when this game was huge on PS1, back in the day. The instruction booklet was actually leatherbound.

Couldn't get into it, which I had though. :/

Own both and complete both as well. The BEST quote from the 2 games is "You Deserve a Spanking!" which I think is randmly said by ?Leo? from Lunar2?... it was a while ago... haha.

Also, yes, I agree, #1 was harder than #2... #2 concentrated more on the animation sequences and graphics more though.

great classics...
