Disney has their own gaming studio.

The Disney characters are part of what makes Kingdom Hearts what it is. Although they do make it seem goofier, forcing gamers to take it less seriously..it also makes the game unique and fun. If it didn't have Disney characters, it would just be Final Fantasy, (which isn't a bad thing....) but that's why there's the FF saga.
Besides, I wasn't a fan of Disney when I started playing the KH series but looking past that, I really liked the main story, original characters, plus it's fun to play.

if Kingdom Hearts gets rid of the Disney, then it's not Kingdom Hearts. it'll just be another Final Fantasy game

I'd prefer them to stay in. As childish as they appear to you guys, I grew up watching these Disney movies (You have no idea how ecstatic I got when you when Sora entered a computer mainframe and interacted with Tron; I love that movie). Not to mention a lot of my female friends love the game because it has Disney characters, you take those characters out it ends up being something they have no interest in.

I admit, the whole catch of Kingdom Hearts is interaction with Disney characters, but that's exactly what makes me not want to play it ><

Some loophole >.>

I think it's funny and cool seeing FF characters interact with silly Disney characters. Auron totally tells Hades off in KH2! You have to admit that that was awesome! I would love to see more interaction among the FF and Disney characters, actually. I say leave the Disney.

IMO, if you take out the Disney characters, you just have a Final Fantasy game starring a new character named Sora. I personally liked the Disney stuff in those games, and it was very unique. It really drew me to it, and I'm obviously not a child, but it was nice playing a game with a lot of things from my childhood. I also got interested in the Pirates of the Carribean because of KH 2.

I wouldn't buy a Tomb Raider game and go "Jeez! Is Lara Croft still in it?". That's what distinguishes the game from similar ones such as Prince Of Persia.

Similarly with Kingdom Hearts, you know what it's all about, you know what you're getting so you can't be disappointed if you buy it and say "God, they're still doing the Disney thing". If you don't like it, don't buy it.
