Arguying about that is pointless, of course you are going to go for the one you got.
Even somebody with all 3 will go with the 360 cuz more of is friends are prolly on it. My point is, it's all a matter of opinion and what fit your needs more. I love my ps3 cuz it fits my needs, I could also have a 360 but I don't have enough time to play all the game I would like to have. I chose my ps3 for one main reason, I am never going to pay to play online. I was a pc gamer for many many many years, but having to update my pc every so often is hard when you have to pay for everything else in your life. That's even why I don't play mmorgp that requires a monthly fee. |

Also, backwards compatibility isn't a winning point against PS3 or XBox 360. Just give me a reason why should I buy a Wii? It gives me nothing new except some kids games. I want new experiences and games around my age, cool story and great graphics (yes graphics are definitely needed, people saying only story is important are hopeless). Quote:

Backwards compatibility might not be a winning point for you. The market Microsoft and Sony are targeting with their console and games generally are not as interested in the older games. But some people, like me, do still like to piss around on old Zelda games. I'm not even old, these are just the games I grew up on. I will agree with you that graphics are an important part of newer games. That's what I have my PC for; for when I want to play those newer titles. |

If that was true then explain the "PSOne Classics" section of the PSN. Explain why Microsoft is launching the "Games on Demand" which allows you to not only download newer games but older XBOX games as well. SONY patented something a few months ago that would allow the PS3 to not emulate, but literally understand PS2 media. This fix is distributable through a rather simple firmware update. When SONY will release this is highly debatable, but it's coming. When the 360 first release almost every "firmware" update was to help increase the backwards compatibility issues they were having with some of original XBOX games. It's rather funny, my friend has the HALO 360, but his console is incapable of playing HALO or HALO 2. Backwards compatibility is an issue with ANY console Microsoft is making computer's just like air conditioners; they work properly until you open WINDOWS. |

And like the other guys, backwards compatibility exists in other console. Quote:
