PS3 v.s Xbox 360 v.s Wii - Page 18

Originally both the ps3 and xbox 360 processors were a knock off of an old IBM processor. Wii is ok for kid games and the work out programs for women I think. The US military is using some of their technology for remote control weapons.
Since gamers like game selection I think xbox still rules. The graphics are fairly close in both the ps3 and xbox 360. It looks like xbox has their melt down problem fixed.
The first ones were failing because the processor ran so hot. Microsoft with their billions bought a lot of game studios when they started. This has secured them a lot better source for new games. Each to their own but I'll stick with xbox. I like the better selection of games when I do play on occasion.

IBM co-developed the PS3's processor, it can't be a knock off if the same company is producing it.

I have to ask though, since this isn't 2007 what exactly is it about the xbox that has a better game selection vs the PS3?

I have to agree that the xbox does have a much better selection of games, but the ps3 still has a good number of exclusives as well. The thing that sets it over the top is the blue ray. I mean, a good blue ray player by itself cost the same as the ps3.

PS3 for graphics, Xbox for range. I tend towards the second since my friends all have one.

Again this whole "better games" argument that is confusing me. What is it about the catalogue that is better? The vast majority of the games released today are multi-platform. Any exclusives released typically has a "counter" exclusive on the opposing system.

If it's coming down to 1 or 2 games you really like that are exclusive then say that. I don't see the point in giving the impression the Xbox has a significantly larger library of current games when it doesn't. It's true the 360 has a lot of bargain bin titles that were released in 2006~2007, but counting those is just inflating numbers for the sake of inflating numbers.

been a fan of sony and microsoft for a while, I'll go with my PS3!!
