I've heard they've been having a lot of problems with the screen, among other things... Sony pulled a Microsoft... put out a defective product...

I'll wait until the PSP 2 is out for about six months so SONY can fix all the bugs then I'll pick me up one...

*another plus for PS3... HOME

Uhh, PC owns them all, period...hahaha, just kidding, I won't start that.
I own a Wii, I've played my brother's 360 countless hours, and I have a PS3, played a lot before. I'd say the 360 takes the cake overall, but the PS3 has more potential. The 360 is at it's limit at the moment. The Wii wins for being the most interactive and fun though. It's still my favorite system despite being the lesser of the two in the graphics department. For consoles, I don't really have the same preferences as I do on the PC. The PC is capable of and is made for jaw-dropping visuals, so I expect that of new games today, but with consoles I have an alternate mind-set. They had better be fun, and that's it.

On a side not, I wish everything didn't look so slimy and overly shiny in 360 games. Sorry, those aren't state-of-the-art graphics, those are cheap techniques that try to "smooth" everything out and appeal to the eye. More like an eyesore to me ;]

overly shiny... I remember when Halo 3 came out. My friend was playing it online and he was on a sandy level and he was walking while looking down at the ground. I was like "WTH dude?" and he replied "I can see all the individual grains of sand!" to which I replied, "So, if this was made for PS3 you'd be spitting sand out of your mouth!"

epic Lul... but anyways. I played Halo 3 only to get the end of the story, I don't see what's so great about it.... I love how microsoft can base a console off 1 game pretty much.. Everybody I know that has a 360 almost bought it exclusively for Halo 3.... at least at first...

Yeah, they get it just for Halo 3 or Gears of War. Not that GoW is a bad game, I loved that game. I played through it three times, once with my brother in coop. Gotta love Cole Train...BAHAHAHAHA. What a hilarious character. "What are you shootin' at? You need glasses fool!"

ummm.. November issue of PLAYSTATION the official Magazine says different...
Splinter Cell: Conviction coming to Sony PS3 - PS3 Daily
If you read closely you'll that that is just a rumor, we haven't heard from EA already, so for now the Conviction game will continue to be only for the 360 and PC.
And those are not PS controllers, watch the directional button on the first kid from the left , you will see that it doesn't look like the ones you find in a PS controller, and the analog sticks are black, but these ones are grey.

I'm just saying P:TOM is a reliable source, as reliable as any other..

As far as I'm concerned I'd believe it, cause there is no game the Xbox can run that the PS3 is incapable of running...

That's like saying the 360 couldn't run a wii game...

the main reason most games that go multi-plat are horrible is due to horrible ports by developers, not the console.. So, that's not relevant...

And as I recall the PS3 version of Bioshock was rated higher than the 360 version. The PS3 version of Oblivion was much superior to the 360 version, better AI, textures, and load times cut by more than half...

And unless I hear it from EAs mouth I ain't buying it...
The 360/Wii analogy is not a good one, since most Wii games require motion sensor, something that 360 doesn't possess... But I get what you mean.
And I saw a Bluray movie recently and didn't see much difference from a good DVD player, of course you get more detail, but I don't want to able to count every single hair the actors have, that doesnt add much to movie experience.

you missed what I meant, I said run, not play... two completely different things..

even if that's what I meant, it's then not fair to compare the ps3 with the 360 cause ps3 has sixaxis, something the 360 doesn't have...
