As many of you can understand I'm sure it is very difficult to only mention one per series so just a few others that I am very fond of are, Terry Bogard, Gouki, Geese Howard, Ryuji Yamazaki, Kim Kaphwan, Vega, Blanka, I'll leave it there.

There's a lot of good 2d fighters on Mame, such as King Of Fighters, Street Fighter, Samurai Shodown etc. (But unfortunately I can't download them as I don't own the original arcade versions )

However I've heard that although they run fine with a 100% frame rate, the shadows beneath the characters tend to flicker a lot and can be quite annoying. So if anyone knows how to stop this from happening please let us know. (just curious like)

My favorite out of all the fighting games out there would have to be Tekken, probaly because Namco shows you can have a great fighting game without the women being sex symbols or a lot of blood (Not that I don't mind blood). My favorite characters from Tekken would have to be Kazuya, Jin, Nina, Anna, Bryan, and Xiyou.

I'm also a fan of Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur, and Dead or Alive. My favorite characters from Mortal Kombat are Sub-Zero, Sindel, and Kitana. My favorites from Soul Calibur are Ivy, Kilik, and Sesuka. And my favorites from Dead or Alive are Jann Lee, Kasumi, Ayame, Ryu, and Hayate (as the ninja, not the way he was in the one when he lost his memory).
