Best Fighting Series / Characters

Ah so many good ones to choose from:

Tekken
Soul Calibur
Dead or Alive
Street Fighter

I'd pick Soul Calibur as my favourite series and Virtua Fighter as the most over-rated one.

My favourite character of all time has to be Bulleta from the Vampire / Darkstalker series. She dresses like little red riding hood, acts all sweet and cute, but then turns out to be a psychopath with a basket full of landmines and guns. Class.

Im not into fighting games but Tekken is sure fun to play against friends.

I only know Yoshimutsu (robot samurai)'s moves...

By the way, I learnt that

Tekken means Iron Fist ( and they named one of their game Tekken Iron Fist Tournament, hehehe)
Kuma (name of bear char. in tekken) means Bear

And I also enjoyed Naruto's fighting game mostly becasue its animesh graphics

I had Street Fighter 2 on the Megadrive and spent hours and hours playing as Chun Li, ah happy days. I have a real problem with the latest batch of 2d fighters in the arcades, the combos are just getting silly, they seem to pull off 20 hit combos before you even work out what moves you've got. Guess I may just be rubbish though.

It's a real shame they can't do a decent anime based on fighting games, Street Fighter wasn't too bad, but Tekken was dreadful and even Darkstalkers disappointed. Still they're not as bad as the live action versions, I couldn't bring myself to go see Dead or Alive it was meant to be that bad.

I'll throw me voice in here with Soul Calibur 3. Mind you, my favourite character is Taki. ALthoug I do like Morrigan from Darkstalkers. What can I say, a demoness is actually quite nice...

yeah tekken for is like the best one to me and as for naruto i like the games for PS2 and gamecube but not for the GBA cause there way to easy

My favorite fighting game has to be Mortal Kombat....My favorite character was always Liu Kang until he died in Deadly Alliance, then my favorite became Tenshi....The blind telepathic ninja guy....But now in Armageddon all the characters are there and I can't choose between my custom character, Baraka, or Tenshi >.<

I don't like Virtua Fighter, too me it looks like a bad remake of Tekken ^^" Actually I don't know which one came first but Tekken is my absolute favourite!
