acutaly it did not make any sense. the 4th threw it out of order. I think that and the stupid boat travling that take forever is what killed that game. the game play was good but the story was half A$$ed the only thing that was good that came out of it that has any effect on the other games is you find out what happen to ted and why he trust the the hero from part one.
it even has little on the 5th game other then the fact the hero of part 5 father is from the island. the 5th game has direct tie in with part 1 and 2. i think that was the problem with part 3 also it had very little to tie it to the other two games. other then the hero of part 3 mother was working for Jowey in part 2. Is Suidoken I a playstation game or is it on PS2? So everyone recommends that I play part II out of all the rest?
I never even knew that there was a Part 5.

In my country they never released 3, 4 and 5
 ( I loved Suikoden 1 and found it REALLY cool:**SPOILER? text is in white, highlight it to read it, I dont want to step on any toes here** That you can play with suikoden 1's hero (and see gremio alongside him again, in suikoden 2 ****SPOILER END**** Wish I could play the rest just to see how the series evolved

Viki shows up in every game. she jumps thru space and time.
Apple is in 1,2,3 Gorge prime is 2,5 and i think mention in 1. Victor is in 1,2, Flick 1,2, Flutch 1,2,3. Luc 1,2,3 Ted 1,4 Yuber 1,2,3 Jeane ALL of them ( some think she bears a true rune and is immortal) Lorelai 1,2,5 Killey 2,5 there more but that just a few.
