R4 card in Akihabara - 07-02-2007, 06:57 AM

Does anyone know where I can find an R4 card in Japan? I heard you can get it in some back alleys in Akihabara but I'd like it if someone can get a little more specific than that.

Thanks!

oh jeeze i jus got one 2 days ago in Akihabara.

DO NOT
i repeat DO NOT
ask for it from normal game stores.
you will NOT find it there

Also they will give you very mean looks and some were nasty to me.

They do NOT like the idea of you pirating games.

they KNOW what R4 and M3 Simply and Action Replay is.
do not mention it around them.

i jus wandered around the back alleys across the street from the Train Station, and found it in a Computer shop.

It said R4 and M3 Simply DS right on the sign walked in, asked for it and got it w/o a problem.

Get the R4 cuz it has english already on the cd.
i got both, and becareful of the spring when you get these.

they suck and WILL break eventually. mine already broke after 2 days.

but jus dont click it in any more when you insert the Microsd otherwise its stuck for ever.

jus put it in and it shouldnt fall out.

check out DS-SCENE.COM and the m3 and r4 forums for more info.

i wish i could tell you specifically where i got it from but i really dont remember.

if your still in japan and want to play some arcades with me in Akihabara some time, jus pm me and ill take ya around to where i found it.

peece

Considering the question was asked two and a half years ago, I hope he wasn't still waiting for an answer.
