It's from an artist called horyoshi 3 (excuse name spellin book is not to hand) but he puts it on alot of his work and iv seen it before and wanna know what it means for a friend I'll get a better pic later

It says 彫よし、the legendary tattooist's signature. He uses an old kanji for 彫, so I can't type it here.

Thanks for the reply that's all I wanted to know but may stic around the forums as I'm nterested in Japanese culture
I knew it was either a signature or perhaps something yakuza
