Looking to practice Japanese in Nagoya

Hi all!

I have been in Nagoya for 3 months but would really like to start practising more conversational Japanese. My Japanese level is still quite basic but it is slowly improving day by day.

I only do have 1 month left on my exchange and i would really like to make the most of it. Ideally I would like to make more friends in Nagoya and practice my Japanese at the same time. I am more then happy to help others with English and we can exchange knowledge vice versa. Ideally I would like to meet new people in person however I am also happy to just to Skype.

This is so random! I found your message whilst searching on Google for something completely unrelated.

My name is Steve. I'm from England. I also live in Nagoya, am a beginner at Japanese and want to practice speaking. I've never used JapanForum before, but seeing your message was so wonderfully unlikely, I've registered an account just to post a reply.

Anyway, I've recently started going to a church on Sunday afternoons and there are lots of friendly Japanese people there, many of whom speak English well too, which is more rare. So, if you want to practice conversation, come along. No pressure and you don't have to be christian or anything.

I'm also in Nagoya.
I have moved to here about 2 years ago and started new job a few month ago.
I'm very happy to meet new friends!
Moreover now our company is looking for a person who can translate from Japanese to English as a part-time job.
I think it is good oppotunity to work in Japanese campany.
Now we are working with people from many contries.

Anyway I need some help for improving my English personally.
