My Japanese teacher told me there is no swearing in Japanese. She said when they get mad, they just get rid of polite suffixs anbd raise their voices.

Anyway, the only swears she tought us:

chikusho (animal)

dete ike (get out, fuck off)

stupid pig ( Iforgot jp. version)

Don't mean to be rude but... everybody knows the meaning of "what's up", there's not much of a slang in that. xDDD

Dude, everyone at least once in their life has seen that famous ad:

YouTube - Budweiser Waz Up?

... so it's not an unknown exspression anymore.

There are Japanese swearwords, it's just that they are rarely, if ever, used. Culturally, Japanese don't often use words like "shit" and whatnot, even when very angry.

Also, I just thought I would note that "chikusho" translates to "damn it" rather than "animal," though it literally translates into that. And that "dete ike" is not (to my knowledge) meant to mean anything more than "get out."

Dete = command form of "deru," which means "leave"
Ike = casual command form of "iku," which means "go"
